This year’s Fungi Foray will be run in conjunction with the Warwickshire Fungus Survey Group to mark UK Fungus Day. Experts will be on hand to help identify the fungi found, talk about vital role that fungi have in woodland ecology and fill us in on some fascinating facts about this group of species.
Last year’s foray was a really popular event and a great success, with the finds including Pseudoboletus parasiticus, a rare parasitic fungus barely known in Warwickshire a decade ago. Come along this year and see if we can do even better!
