Woodland Walk

We have arranged a woodland walk for Saturday 13th June at 10.00 to be led by Nick Martin, Reserves Officer of the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.

Nick will be familiar to many of you as he has presented on a number of wildlife topics at our AGM in recent years. Having previous worked for the RSPB and a number of other nature and conservation bodies, he has gained an encyclopedic knowledge of wildlife. He is also a professional wildlife photographer and accomplished speaker.

Join us for a walk around the wood to observe the flora and fauna and benefit from Nick’s passion for nature. The walk should take around 2 hours. The actual route will be decided on the day and will probably be between 2-3 km. If this is too long (distance or time) for you, you can head for home at any time.

Meet at the main entrance to Oakley Wood at 10:00 here. If the small crematorium car park is full and you have to use the main car park, be aware that the Crematorium does operate on Saturdays, so please park discreetly and away from the main buildings.
