The next Annual General Meeting of the Friends of Oakley Wood will take place on 27 April 2026 at the Barford Memorial Hall at 7.30 pm.
After the formal business of the meeting there will be refreshments, followed by a presentation by Nick Martin, Reserves Manager at Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. Nick has given a number of well-received talks at our AGMs, and we are lucky to have him back again, this time on the subject of ‘Secrets of a Wildlife Photographer’.
This is your chance to meet other members of The Friends, show your support and discuss wood-related issues – while having a glass of wine. Nominations for membership of the committee are invited.
If you have any items that you would like to be included in Any Other Business, please email them to or use the ‘Contact Us’ form on the website.
We look forward to seeing you.

Gr8 to see you all again after a few fallow years – all looking good, doing a, as ever, super job of keeping the Wood ‘alive’ – in many more ways than 1!!
Friends of Oakley Wood is 20 years old this year – and clearly going from strength-2-strength
The talk by Nick was hugely enjoyable, informative & with humour = always a splendid way to get messages across…. almost a 3-year photography degree in just c 40mins ….& much more.
Really well done one & all – Bluebells or no Bluebells!!
Warm regards
Fizz
