Friends of Oakley Wood is a community group dedicated to protecting, celebrating, and caring for Oakley Wood for the benefit of wildlife and people, now and in the future.
We work to conserve and enhance the woodland’s natural habitats, support biodiversity, and promote responsible enjoyment of this special place. Through volunteering, education, and collaboration with local communities and partners, we aim to deepen understanding of Oakley Wood’s ecological and cultural importance and ensure it remains a thriving, welcoming environment for generations to come.
The Friends of Oakley Wood works in partnership with Warwick District Council and Warwickshire Wildlife Trust to ensure the wood is managed sustainably for the benefit of local people and wildlife. We organise occasional events in the wood whenever we can, as well as assist with work parties to help with the woodland management. You’d be very welcome at any of our events, so do get in touch, or join the group to be kept up to date with the latest news.
