This is a reminder of the final task weekend in Oakley Wood for this winter.

George Green of the WWT will as usual be leading the morning work party. George hasn’t yet let me know what the actual activities will be but it doesn’t really matter – it’ll be energetic and will keep you warm.

(Update: mea culpa. George DID inform me of the activity some while ago – apologies, George. It will be “making brash piles to cover this winter’s coppicing”. )

Details are pretty much as normal (when & where to meet, contact if first time, etc) – see here. Tools will be provided as always but bring your hard hat if you have been issued with one.

WWT hasn’t yet got back to providing tea/coffee/biscuits, so if you want refreshments during the morning, bring them with you.

(Apologies for missing reminders for the previous two task weekends – I was lucky enough to have an extended Christmas break in Australia during that time. Lucky me!)
