A belated reminder of the upcoming task day on Sunday 26th October. George Green will be leading this as usual.

The activity is planned to be ride-side coppicing. Please bring you hard hat if you gave one, if not George can supply these.

If you are a regular visitor to the woods you will have noticed that we have had forestry contractors in thinning the wood as part of the planned works to restore it to a native broad-leaf woodland. We can still use the usual car park access (at the loading bay) but please be mindful if there are any log stacks or brash when parking.

The session will run for the usual 10 am until a flexible1 pm finish.
