The 2019 Annual General Meeting of the Friends of Oakley Wood was held on Monday 18th March in Barford Memorial Hall.
Chairman Liz Sheehan welcomed everyone and gave a summary of the year’s activities, and various other reports were provided (see minutes). We were grateful to have George Green, Reserves Officer at the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust present to give an update on management activities in the wood and to answer questions.
After refreshments another instalment of “Secrets of the Wood”, a compilation of trail camera footage, was shown, followed by a brief talk by Chris Wood about some of the items in the video, especially the tantalizing sight of a polecat found in the footage from last summer.
